Coming from a background of a love of fashion and inspirations from businessmen and the power held in their briefcases, Nicomede Talavera the now London-based designer at only 23 years old is making modern and smart designs before interning at Blaak Homme next year and continuing his studies at Central St Martins.

DD: How would you describe your own style?
Nicomede Talavera: I am really inspired by sportswear, its purpose and how it can strike in between practicality and beauty.

Recently I have been really inspired by nature and the world as we watch it rapidly evolve in front of us. I am also very into 'Britishness' and traditional shapes, techniques and fabrics and like to balance playfulness with functionality.
