Mindy Thomas is an American children's author and podcast host.^[1][2] In 2017, Thomas launched NPR's science-for-kids podcast Wow in the World with journalist Guy Raz.^[3][4][5] Thomas also hosts the Gracie Award-winning^[6]Absolutely Mindy Show on Sirius XM's Kids Place Live and Highlights Hangout with Highlights magazine^[7][8]

Personal life

Thomas was raised in Dayton, Ohio, and later in Florida.^[9] Thomas graduated from the University of South Florida (USF) with a degree in Mass Communications.^[10][11]
